Who controls the Muslim Brotherhood?

On Monday, The Telegraph reported that a London-based Hamas operative was behind Greta Thunberg’s silly “aid” yacht bound for Gaza. Zaher Birawi, who was described in Parliament as a person with links to Hamas, called himself a “founding member” of the Freedom Flotilla International Coalition, which arranged the voyage.

Hamas is a branch of the Muslim Brotherhood in Gaza. The Muslim Brotherhood’s only aim is to control the world through Islam. So, who controls the Muslim Brotherhood?

Is it the Rothschilds or is there a Jewish connection, as some suspect? Not according to Walter Veith’s research, who provides evidence that Islam was started by the Roman Catholic Church. To this day, Veith says, Islam, which is the religion introduced to initiates at the highest levels of Freemasonry, is still under the control of Rome.

And the Vatican is collaborating with the United Nations (“UN”), with the aim of installing a one world religion with the Pope as its spokesperson.

Is it surprising that a UN puppet, Thunberg, collaborates with a Hamas operative, which is also a UN collaborator?

What is the Muslim Brotherhood?

The Muslim Brotherhood was founded in Ismailia, Egypt, by Hassan al-Banna in March 1928. It was started as a social and religious club by a twenty-two-year-old schoolteacher, who recruited six members of the Suez Canal Company.

According to founder al-Banna, “It is the nature of Islam to dominate, not to be dominated, to impose its law on all nations and to extend its power to the entire planet.”

Al-Banna wrote that the Islamic flag must be raised again in the territories once ruled by Islam: “Thus, Andalusia (Spain), Sicily, the Balkans, the Italian coast, as well as the islands of the Mediterranean are all Muslim Mediterranean colonies, and they must return to the embrace of Islam.”

Al-Banna was a sympathiser, if not an admirer, of Benito Mussolini and Adolf Hitler. In 2021, the Egyptian-German scholar Hamed Abdel-Samad said that al-Banna admired Hitler and modelled the Muslim Brotherhood on the Nazi Party, noting that the Muslim Brotherhood, like the Nazi Party, is a political party that relies on an armed militia and has an “ideology of an inspiring leader-saviour.”

The Brotherhood now has branches in 70 countries and territories, including its main contingents in Egypt, Syria, Gaza, Libya, Tunisia and Jordan.

The Muslim Brotherhood is always working to spread its ideas throughout Egypt and the Middle East to gain more followers. They work on almost all social levels, including schools, universities, mosques, politics and professional offices. One main strategy of the Brotherhood is to utilise a grassroots network of social and charitable organisations to expand its membership base, gain trust and demonstrate Islam’s relevance in all aspects of life.

According to Al Jazeera, the members of the Muslim Brotherhood represent a broad spectrum of interpretations of the initial ideology of its founder, Hassan al-Banna. “The [Muslim Brotherhood] officially renounced violence in the 1970s during the rule of Egyptian President Anwar el-Sadat,” Al Jazeera said. Mmmm …

In June 2011, the Egyptian official news agency recognised the Muslim Brotherhood as a legitimate political party for the first time since it was outlawed by the government in 1954. Recognised as the Freedom and Justice Party, the Brotherhood was permitted to run in parliamentary elections scheduled for late 2011. Writing about the Muslim Brotherhood’s (“MB’s”) political gain in Egypt and beyond, Al Jazeera noted:

In late 2011, Tunisia’s Ennahda party (an Islamist party inspired by the MB) won the first parliamentary elections to be held in the country after the overthrow of President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali. In 2012, the Muslim Brotherhood ran a candidate in the post-Arab Spring presidential elections in Egypt.

Other than Egypt, which is the birthplace of the Muslim Brotherhood, there are [political] parties that can be considered offshoots of the Muslim Brotherhood in a number of Arab countries, as they were inspired by the core tenets of MB ideology. These include Hamas in Palestine, the Ennahda party in Tunisia, and Kuwait’s Islamic Constitutional Movement.

In Jordan, the Muslim Brotherhood is represented in the Islamic Action Front, the political wing that is one of the largest blocs in the Jordanian parliament. It broke formal ties with the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood after the 2013 coup in Egypt. In Bahrain, the political arm of its Muslim Brotherhood group is known as the Minbar.

Not all Islamist parties are MB, a clear example of that is the Salafi movement of Egypt, which was Islamist in nature, but chose its own path in various political situations.

Muslim Brotherhood’s Plan for the West

It’s not only in the Middle East that the Muslim Brotherhood is spreading its ideology. The organisation also maintains active branches in the United Kingdom, France and numerous other European countries, as well as in the United States. A 2002 article published by the Intelligence Resource Program states, “Today, a very complex financial network connects the operations of over seventy branches of the Muslim Brothers worldwide.”

In addition to official branches, there are organisations worldwide that have either been established by people with strong personal ties to the Brotherhood but which operate completely independently or are influenced by the Brotherhood through people with some ties to it.

During a US Subcommittee on National Security in July 2018, Ron DeSantis, who was chairing the meeting, said: “Muslim Brotherhood networks raise money here in the US to support Hamas’ terrorist activities in the Middle East. According to the Department of Justice, in the early 1990s, Hamas’ parent organisation, the Muslim Brotherhood, planned to establish a network of organisations in the US to spread a militant Islamist message and raise money for Hamas.”

The video below was aired by the Norwegian TV2 channel in November 2010. The reporter spoke with Kamil Al Najjar from England, who knows the Muslim Brotherhood better than most because he was a member of the organisation in his homeland. After defecting, he still received death threats.

Hassan al-Banna transformed Islam from a religion to a political ideology. “Almost in every country in the world, they have a branch of the Muslim Brotherhood,” he said. “They are trying to deceive the people, and they have managed to deceive a lot of Western politicians into believing them. And their only aim is to control the world with Islam and establish Islamic governments around the world.”

Al Najjar said that Islamists have an agenda for Europe. “For the West, their aim is to [inaudible] the West because they know they cannot use force to convert the West. So, they use the ‘seed’.”

Zionist Conspiracy Theory Comes to the Aid

Earlier this year, Moomen Sallam, a former leader in the Muslim Brotherhood chapter in Egypt, joined Yasmine Mohammed to discuss how the Brotherhood operates both in Egypt and on a global scale in Europe and North America. They also discussed Egypt’s role in the war in Gaza and the recent chaos in Syria.

Moomen Sallam is a leading voice amongst freethinkers in Egypt and the author of several articles and books, including ‘ABC Secularism’and‘ABC Liberalism’, and co-author of ‘Egypt and Israel: Forty Years in the Desert of Cold Peace’.

Sallam stated that it was only when he joined the Muslim Brotherhood that the veil was lifted. To those outside the organisation, they champion freedom and democracy but within the organisation, they are anything but. He said he was shocked to discover that the organisation operates with an opaque, top-down, dictatorial approach. Questioning or criticising the way the organisation is run, its ideology or its members is not tolerated. Spies are everywhere, he said, with members listening, watching and reporting anything said by other members that the leaders may disapprove of.

He also described what happened within the Muslim Brotherhood during Saddam Hussein’s invasion of Kuwait, which gives us an insight into how the perceived “liberation” of Jerusalem isn’t only about “liberating” Jerusalem.

Muslim and Arab nationalists always describe the “liberation” of Jerusalem through liberating places that are between them and Jerusalem, he explained. For example, if on the way to Jerusalem, they pass by Kuwait, Muslim and Arab nationalists will say, “If we want to liberate Jerusalem, we have to first change the regime in Kuwait.” In this case, Muslim and Arab nationalists would have been saying to themselves, “Saddam Hussein will unite all Arab and Muslim countries and lead us all to ‘free Palestine from the river to the sea’,” Sallman said.

But Hussein’s invasion of Kuwait split the Muslim Brotherhood. Some, such as the Muslim Brotherhood of Jordan, Hamas, the Palestinian Liberation Organisation (“PLO”) and almost all of the Muslim Brotherhood in the Middle East and North Africa took the view described above, Sallam said. “They took the side of Saddam Hussein. That was very stupid.”

On the other hand, the Muslim Brotherhood of the Gulf didn’t take Hussein’s side because Kuwait was “one of their countries.” So, for the Muslim Brotherhood of Kuwait and the Muslim Brotherhood of Saudi Arabia, Hussain’s invasion of Kuwait represented a conflict of interest.

The Muslim Brotherhood of Egypt didn’t know which side to back; whether they should stand with “the main block of the Muslim Brotherhood or with the Muslim Brotherhood of the Gulf, who are the main [financial] sponsors,” Sallam said.

It was a bad situation between those who backed Hussein and those who backed Kuwait, Sallam said. When the American, British and Egyptian armies went to Saudi Arabia to liberate Kuwait from Hussein, “of course, the conspiracy theory came out again … that this is a plan made by the Zionists,” he said. Mohammed added, “It’s always the Jews,” meaning that, as always, accusations against the Jews are used to deflect attention or blame.

Rothschild and the Suez Canal

Some claim that the Muslim Brotherhood is a Rothschild family project, presumably because of the connection of early members of the Muslim Brotherhood to the Suez Canal Company. But even a cursory glance at history and the timing of events suggests this theory doesn’t hold much water.

Ferdinand de Lesseps was a French diplomat and entrepreneur who secured the necessary political and financial support to construct the Suez Canal. The canal opened in 1869 and connected the Mediterranean Sea to the Red Sea, significantly reducing travel distances between Europe and East Asia. The construction of the canal began in 1859 and was completed in 1869.

The Rothschilds, originally named Bauer, are a powerful banking family with roots in Germany. According to Fritz Springmeier, “The oldest known Rothschild went by the name of Uri Feibesch who lived [possibly in Frankfurt] in the early 16th century. His descendants lived in the House of Red Shield. His great, great, great, great-grandson was Moses Bauer, who lived in the early 18th century … The Bauer line continues today, but in the 1700s, one man re-named his branch of the family [Rothschild] after its symbol and address – the Red Shield or the Seal of Solomon.”

But as Springmeyer acknowledged, definitive facts are difficult to find. “The truth is sometimes hard to tell. The stories the family weave are hard to distinguish from the truth. Myths are one of their best weapons, and a researcher must be wary,” he wrote.

The Rothschilds played a significant role in European finance and were involved in various major projects, including the financing of the Suez Canal. Lionel de Rothschild, a member of the family, was instrumental in helping the British government purchase shares in the Suez Canal in 1875.

In 1875, the London banking house of N. M. Rothschild & Sons advanced the Prime Minister, Benjamin Disraeli, acting for the British Government, £4 million to purchase Suez Canal shares. This transaction was crucial in securing British influence over the Suez Canal, which had a profound impact on global trade and colonial interests.

The funds were repaid within five months, but the purchase was controversial, with accusations that Disraeli had undermined Britain’s constitutional system by not seeking parliamentary consent.

The Suez Canal Company was originally a joint-stock company headquartered in Paris, with France holding 52 per cent of shares and Egypt holding 44 per cent at the time of its founding. When Egypt’s viceroy, Ismāʿīl Pasha, fell into financial troubles in 1875, he sold his country’s shares to the British government, making Britain the largest shareholder of the company.

However, in July 1956, Egyptian President Gamal Abdel Nasser nationalised the Suez Canal Company, transferring ownership to Egypt, which precipitated the Suez Crisis. Since then, the canal has been completely operated and maintained by the state-owned Suez Canal Authority of Egypt.

The Muslim Brotherhood began in 1928, at a time when the British government was the largest shareholder of the Suez Canal Company and long after any apparent involvement with the Rothschilds.

Islamic Connection to the Vatican

Some may say that the Muslim Brotherhood is a project of the Vatican. When asked why they would make this link, they might refer to a lecture given by Walter Veith in 2004. Although Veith doesn’t address Islamism, such as the Muslim Brotherhood, he does give details as to how the religion of Islam fits into the “mystery religions” that are under the control of the Vatican.

Walter Veith is a retired professor and researcher in medical bioscience. He abandoned his atheist and evolutionist worldview following a series of challenging events for which his scientific training offered neither explanations nor solutions. Since then, he has travelled the world, presenting thoroughly researched lectures on Bible prophecy, health, Creation science and secret societies. You can find his numerous lectures on Amazing Discoveries’ website HERE.

In 2004, Veith gave a 36-part lecture series titled ‘Total Onslaught’. Part 16 was titled ‘The Islamic Connection’, in which he presented evidence that Islam was created by the Roman Catholic Church.

‘The Islamic Connection’ has since been removed from the Amazing Discoveries’ YouTube channel. We don’t know the reasons but we should bear this in mind as it equates to a retraction, which could be for any of a variety of reasons, for example legal or other threats, or more innocuous reasons such as an inaccuracy, misquote or additional information subsequently coming to light that replaces previous information shared.

“Evangelism in Islamic countries is totally forbidden; this religion has full control of the entire territory which it controls,” Veith began his ‘The Islamic Connection’ lecture. Before digging into who or what Islam is, he explained that he had a high regard for those who followed the Islamic faith. He praised their loyalty and their principle of standing up for high moral standards.

However, in the Islamic faith, just as there is in Catholicism, “there is an inner circle and an outer circle,” he said. “That the inner circle has one faith and the outer circle gets goyim religion – the Islamic faith – and that controlling them both is a central organisation which is seated … in Rome.”

The first point Veith noted was that Muhammad’s wife, Khadījah, was a Roman Catholic. “She came from a Roman Catholic convent, so we could say she was a Roman Catholic nun. She was super rich, she lived in a convent and she had the whole of the economy, basically, in her hands. And she employed this young man Muhammad, whom she then also married,” he said.

Moving on to comparing symbols, relics and rituals between Islam and the Catholic Church, Veith demonstrates how the two religions have some notable similarities. He posed the questions: “Is it possible that both religions in the inner circle worship the same lucifer but that the outer circle knows nothing about this? … Is it possible that both religions serve the same master behind the scenes and that the masses are deceived?”

At timestamp 32:54, Veith discussed claims made by a Jesuit, Alberto Rivera. Rivera claimed that the Jesuit General, Cardinal Bea, personally instructed him on the origin of Islam. According to Rivera, the Roman Catholic Church started Islam in order to take the Arabs under their control and secure Jerusalem.

In addition to the symbolism and rituals, Catholic and Islamic insiders have an infamous organisation in common: Freemasonry. Freemasons of the highest order – 32^nd Degree in the Scottish Rite and 29^th Degree in the York Rite – can become Shriners, Veith said (see timestamp 48:17). The Shriners are an Arabic Order.

Quoting from James Shaw’s book ‘The Deadly Deception’, Veith said:

The Shrine (Ancient Arabic Order, Nobles of the Mystic Shrine) … the “Show Army of Masonry,” maintains a very high profile … It is necessary to be a 32^nd Degree Mason for six months before being eligible to join the Shrine.

Shaw stated that the Shrine is a shrine to Allah and, during Shriner events, there is a copy of the Koran on the altar:

We went into the Shrine … we began the initiation … After the medical screening came the hazing … After the hazing it was time for the serious part, the ritual, and then time to take the oath … And, with the Koran on the altar, we sealed our solemn oath in the name of “Allah, the God of Arab, Moslem and Mohammedan, the God of our fathers.”

“So,” Veith said, “Masonry is nothing other than the ‘ancient mystery religion’, and Jesuits are the ‘ancient mystery religion’, and Islam is the ‘ancient mystery religion’ behind the scenes … [and] Rome controls it all.”

By “ancient mystery religion,” Veith was referring to Gary H. Kah’s “ancient mystery religions” at the top of the secret societies hierarchy as illustrated in his 1991 book ‘En Route to Global Occupation’ (see page 94, HERE).

“Catholicism, from the beginning, has controlled Islam,” Veith said. “Islam is just a tool of esoterics to indoctrinate people in accepting a synthesis [which in this case is a union of the religions].”

“I believe there are many, many people in Islam who will see the light; who will see that they have been deceived. Just as there are many, many Catholics who will see the light that they have been deceived,” he said.

Explaining how the Catholic/Islam insiders use Islam “today” (remember this lecture was given in 2004), he said they want people to be afraid of Islam and Islamists. Because people who are afraid “will accept any changes that are necessary to meet the threat … They’re going to rub up two religions against each other; Judeo-Christian culture [and] Islamic culture, rub them up [so they] destroy each other until what is left? Synthesis. And then you have one world religion, and lucifer rejoices because he’s king.”

In part 26 of the ‘Total Onslaught’ series, Veith gave a lecture on the UN and the occult agenda. In this lecture, he exposed the real motives behind the UN’s new world order: the creation of a global religio-political system will have far-reaching consequences for every person on Earth.

The aim is that the world is going to move towards a unified world religion. What might this religion be? Veith quoted Alice Bailey, a British and American writer known for her works on Theosophy and her influence on the New Age movement. She founded the Lucis Trust in 1922, which supports the United Nations. In a 1993 World Goodwill letter, Bailey said “… the universal world religion … will neither be Christian nor heathen, neither Jew nor Gentile …” Curiously, she didn’t add “neither Islamist/Muslim nor kaffir.”

Who will be the spokesperson for this new world religion? To answer this question, Veith quoted Robert Muller, a former UN Assistant Secretary-General who was referred to as the UN’s “Philosopher” and “Prophet of Hope,” and “father of global education”:

“The Pope will … speak for all religions.” Really?! The Roman Catholic Pope? The man who heads the Roman Catholic Church, whose insiders control the “ancient mystery religions,” including Islam? Is the Vatican dictating to the UN, or is the UN dictating to the Vatican? We don’t know. But it signifies that the Vatican is collaborating with the UN and the two organisations’ religious outlooks align. And as Bailey stated, the universal religion they aim to impose is not Judaism nor Christianity.

Not only is the UN collaborating with the Vatican, but, as we noted in a previous article, the UN’s agency UNRWA has long been operating as the de facto government in Gaza. For the UN to operate to this extent in Gaza, they are collaborating with Hamas.

Using the information above, let’s connect the dots to circle back to the beginning of this article: The Vatican controls Islam; the Vatican collaborates with the UN; the UN collaborates with Hamas; and, Hamas, through its links to Islam, is ultimately controlled by the Vatican.

It’s not surprising, then, that Greta Thunberg, who is the UN’s poster girl for its climate change agenda, collaborated with Hamas in a publicity stunt to “free Palestine.” Essentially, it is a case of one UN representative working alongside another to further the UN/Vatican’s goals.

Note: A theory we haven’t delved into above is whether the Muslim Brotherhood is working for intelligence agencies. In part 11 of ‘Total Onslaught’ (timestamp 57:53), Veith quoted a book written in 1960 which stated the Knights of the Military Order of Malta not only control the banking, industry and military complexes of the world but they also rule the international intelligence community – the KGB in the East and the CIA in the West. And as it is the Jesuits who control the Knights of Malta, it is ultimately the Jesuits who control the intelligence agencies. The Jesuits, also known as the Society of Jesus, is a religious order within the Catholic Church.
