Senator Hawley Launches Investigation into Shady Activist Groups Funding Chaos, Bankrolling Riots

Senator Hawley Launches Investigation into Shady Activist Groups Funding Chaos, Bankrolling Riots

Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) has joined FBI Director Kash Patel in vowing to “follow the money” to uncover exactly where the funding is coming from that is bankrolling the violent protests in Los Angeles and cities across the country.

A Color Revolution is Upon Us

The riots in Los Angeles are anything but spontaneous. Shields, clothing, bricks, weapons, and attorney protection are being provided to these Marxists. It is well-planned, which is the opposite of organic. This, in reality, has nothing to do with ICE and illegal immigration. It is the blossoming of a poisonous color revolution spurred on by the same radicals, subversive groups, and nongovernmental organizations that have stirred up trouble in the United States for decades.

Aiding and Abetting Criminal Conduct

Patel told Just the News that the FBI is following the money to uncover what groups are backing the protests, which are now spreading like Marxist cancer across the nation. He was blunt in noting that “It is aiding and abetting criminal conduct,” according to Blazemedia.

“The FBI is investigating any and all monetary connections responsible for these riots,” Patel stated.

Enter Josh Hawley’s Investigation

Hawley is publicly joining the FBI director in the hunt for those dumping big bucks in an effort to incite an uprising here in the U.S. He made an announcement on Wednesday that he is launching an investigation into those allegedly funding the chaos.

“Who is funding the LA riots? This violence isn’t spontaneous. As chairman of the Judiciary Subcommittee on Crime & Terrorism, I’m launching an investigation to find out,” the senator posted to X.

He also posted a letter that he sent to the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights of Los Angeles. That is just one of many leftist organizations he believes are behind the “lawless mob actions.”

“Credible reporting now suggests that your organization has provided logistical support and financial resources to individuals engaged in these disruptive actions,” Hawley wrote in the letter. “Let me be clear: bankrolling civil unrest is not protected speech. It is aiding and abetting criminal conduct.”

“Let me be clear: bankrolling civil unrest is not protected speech. It is aiding and abetting criminal conduct. Accordingly, you must immediately cease and desist any further involvement in the organization, funding, or promotion of these unlawful activities,” he demanded.

Hawley then asked that they provide the Senate Subcommittee on Crime and Counterterrorism “with a list of records, including internal communications, financial documents related to protests, third-party contracts, grant applications, travel and lodging records, media and public relations strategies, and donor lists,” according to Blazemedia.

Hawley warned them that a “failure to comply” will result in further action, including “potential referral for criminal investigation.”

Others are Investigating Where the Money is Coming From

DataRepublican also believes that CHIRLA is behind the pre-planned revolt and pointed out that $34 million of the NGO’s reported $45 million revenue in the fiscal year ending June 2023 was from government grants, which mostly came from California.

“In their most recent year, CHIRLA jumped from [$]12 million to [$]34 million in government grants,” DataRepublican reported.

Fox News backed that claim as well:

IRS records obtained by Fox News show that CHIRLA has received $34 million in government grants, including three from former President Joe Biden’s administration for $750,000.

President Donald Trump has already cut funding for the organization. Nevertheless, CHIRLA still receives state and city grant funds to support its lawyers fighting against deportations.

CHIRLA is also responsible for creating the so-called Rapid Response Network, the hotline immigrants use to report ICE raids. The network then sends text alerts, giving migrants an opportunity to hide.

The Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights, of course, is denying that they had anything to do with the riots.

“We have not participated, coordinated, or been part of the protests being registered in Los Angeles other than the press conference and rally cited above,” a representative informed the New York Post.

Trump Slams Paid Agitators

President Trump absolutely believes these are paid agitators that are inciting unrest, “The people that are causing the problem are professional agitators. They’re insurrectionists. They’re bad people. They should be in jail.”

He also believes that border czar Tom Homan should take California Governor Gavin Newsom up on his dare to arrest him since he is allegedly obstructing justice.

Newsom Shows His Communist Cards

In response to Trump’s statement, Newsom let the revolutionary cat out of the bag, stating, “The President of the United States just called for the arrest of a sitting Governor. This is a day I hoped I would never see in America. I don’t care if you’re a Democrat or a Republican this is a line we cannot cross as a nation — this is an unmistakable step toward authoritarianism.”

While Patel and Hawley are at it, they should shut down ActBlue, which is no doubt shoveling funds to the radicals as fast as it can.

The Planned Riots are Spreading

According to NBC News, the so-called anti-ICE protests are spreading from Los Angeles across the nation. Here’s a list of some of the gatherings:

The No Kings Movement

And then there is the leftist No Kings movement that will explode this Saturday as President Trump holds a military parade to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the Army. June 14th is also Flag Day and Trump’s birthday, so you can imagine how Democrats such as Gavin Newsom are lying and claiming that the president is forcing the military to celebrate his birthday just like a dictator would. That’s ridiculous and sheer slander.

A who’s who of Marxist groups are supporting and backing the No Kings movement.

I will leave you a list of their “partners” for reference – note that these groups are backing a subversive movement whose goal is to discredit President Trump and bring the country to its knees and overthrow in a color revolution.

Don’t be fooled by some of the names – these are communists at play:
