Ken Ham Rebukes Kentucky Science Center, After Planned Parenthood Distributes Graphic ‘Propaganda’ To Children

Parents of children who recently attended an event at the Kentucky Science Center are outraged after learning that abortion giant Planned Parenthood distributed sexually explicit coloring books to elementary school students.

Planned Parenthood was granted permission to be a vendor at the “Health and Wellness Days” event at the museum, which featured children between the ages of 8-13 from five local schools. It was there that staffers from the abortion provider began passing out the graphic material, “featur[ing] images of breasts, penises, condoms, pills, and activities to be filled out, including a ‘sex-lib’ fill-in-the-blank,” according to pro-life news organization LIVE ACTION.

In response to the backlash, the science center located in Louisville insisted that they had requested Planned Parenthood to provide the material to the museum beforehand. Not only did the staffers neglect to do so, but the museum also stated that they showed up late to the event, giving organizers a timeframe that “made it difficult to assess the materials as the event was well under way.” The science center did not elaborate on why the abortion provider was approved to attend the child-orientated event in the first place.

Planned Parenthood, in their response, denied handing out the disturbing material before backtracking, claiming that its staff did so “inadvertently.”

Ken Ham, Founder and President of Answers In Genesis, which has two popular Christian attractions in Kentucky—the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum—reacted to the news, criticizing the science museum for allowing a group that has “killed (murdered) millions of unborn children” to distribute “pro–Planned Parenthood propaganda” to children.

“The museum advertises itself as ‘your premier destination for family fun activities in Louisville.’ And apparently, ‘family fun’ includes Planned Parenthood!” he wrote. “I’m sure parents sending their children on a field trip to a local science museum didn’t anticipate their young children coming home with sexually explicit coloring books from the pro-abortion (pro-child sacrifice), pro-LGBTQ, anti-God Planned Parenthood.”

“How disgusting!” Ham underscored. “But it’s not shocking, considering how sexually perverted that group is.”

Ham went on to implore Kentucky families and those outside the state to safeguard their children by taking them to “God-honoring” attractions, such as the Ark Encounter, which features a life-size Noah’s ark built to the specifications outlined in Genesis.

“I am thankful that families have places they can bring their children where they don’t have to worry about what their kids might see or hear—the family-friendly Creation Museum and Ark Encounter,” he highlighted. “Instead of hosting groups that gleefully promote the murder of children, we have a stunning exhibit that celebrates the wonder and sanctity of human life (our Fearfully & Wonderfully Made exhibit). It’s the most powerful such exhibit in the world.”

Planned Parenthood has found itself in hot water from parents on numerous occasions for its inappropriate sexual education material and presentations.

Biblically, we know that God takes the grooming of children very seriously. In Matthew 18:6, Jesus used strong words to rebuke those leading children into sin, warning that God’s response to such actions are so severe that “it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea.” Planned Parenthood would do well to heed this warning.
