Muslim Democratic Socialist Zohran Mamdani will be sworn in as mayor in New York City on Thursday, using three Qurans as Bernie Sanders gives the oath of office. How fitting. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez will also headline his inauguration, proving that commies of a feather definitely flock together in the Big Apple.

First NYC mayor sworn in on the Quran
It’s the first time in NYC that a mayor has been sworn in using a Quran, ushering in an era of Muslim rule in the city. Leftism and Islam will combine to create a hellish landscape for Jews and Christians as Sharia law looms large.
While America welcomes 2026, New York City will be kneeling before its new Islamic and communist overlords.

According to the New York Times, the first ceremony will take place at midnight on Thursday as Mamdani places his hand on his grandfather’s Quran as well as a Quran that belonged to Puerto Rican black history activist and revolutionary Arturo Schomburg. In the second ceremony, Mamdani will again use his grandfather’s Quran and another that belonged to his grandmother.
Commies unite for swearing in
New York Attorney General Letitia James will swear in Mamdani just after the strike of midnight on January 1 at Old City Hall Station. Comrade Sanders will deliver the oath of office later in the day on the steps of City Hall, according to the New York Post.

Traditionally, New York City mayors have always used Christian Bibles when they are sworn in. Mamdani becomes one of a handful of elected Muslims in America to use the Quran instead. Both Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison and Minnesota Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar were sworn in using the Quran.
Islam will rule the Big Apple
After delivering a performative, tearful speech on Islamophobia on the campaign trail, the use of the Quran during his anointment is hardly surprising. New Yorkers are in for severe culture shock as Mamdani takes the reins of the mayorship.

“This moment will mark a turning point in the civic history of New York City, and it belongs to every New Yorker whose lives shaped this city quietly, without ever being reflected back to them,” the mayor-elect’s senior adviser, Zara Rahim, said in a statement shared with the NYT concerning the use of the Qurans. She also told reporters that the use of the Qurans will serve to rectify “a long-deferred absence” of Muslims in New York City public life.
“It’s a highly symbolic choice because we’re about to have a Muslim mayor swearing in using the Quran but also a mayor who was born on the African continent, in Uganda,” Hiba Abid, New York Public Library’s curator for Middle Eastern and Islamic Studies, said referring to Mamdani’s decision to use the non-Muslim Schomburg’s Quran, according to the NYT. “It really brings together here elements of faith, identity, and New York history.”
Mamdani taps al Qaeda attorney
Despite vowing to protect Jewish New Yorkers, the Islamist announced on Tuesday the city’s next top attorney would be Ramzi Kassem, who defended convicted al Qaeda terrorist Ahmed al-Darbi and Columbia student Mahmoud Khalil, who is accused of leading antisemitic demonstrations on campus.

According to Fox News, “Al-Darbi was convicted of conspiracy in connection with the fatal 2017 al Qaeda terrorist bombing of a French oil tanker off the coast of Yemen and was transferred in 2018 by the Trump administration into Saudi Arabian custody. Khalil was released, but his case remains ongoing.”
Speaking at a news conference announcing Kassem’s appointment, Mamdani commented, “I will turn to Ramzi for his remarkable experience and his commitment to defending those too often abandoned by our legal system.”

Mamdani’s transition teams are filled with over 400 leftists, communists, and Islamists who hate America, cops, Christians, Jews, and freedom in general. Some have terrorist ties as well. His ascension is what happens when you forget that Islamic terrorists killed almost 3,000 Americans, many of them in NYC, 24 years ago.
“Growing up in the shadow of 9/11, I have known what it means to live with an undercurrent of suspicion in this city,” Mamdani stated during his speech on October 24, adding, “To be Muslim in New York is to expect indignity, but indignity does not make us distinct. There are many New Yorkers who face it. It is the tolerance of that indignity that does.”
His leftist mask is slipping already, and the Jihadist one is taking its place. Mamdani said that he was wrong for thinking that he could focus on his “central message” during his campaign and become “more than just my faith.” He is Muslim first, not America First, and certainly not New York first.
“No amount of redirection is ever enough,” the 34-year-old Ugandan-born socialist unsurprisingly said.

Mamdani’s win is NYC’s loss
The New York Times proclaimed that Mamdani’s election victory was a “breakthrough win for Muslim Americans.” Abdul El-Sayed, a Muslim Democrat running for the US Senate in Michigan, remarked, “There is a constant effort to try and draw a small barrier around who can be American. That is what makes this moment so special.”
What makes it “so special” is that a radical Islamist is now the mayor of New York City, the largest city in America. This will not end well.
As revolting as Mamdani’s swearing in is, it’s not the real story here. The real story is that our leaders have allowed Islamists to infiltrate our country and offices of power at every level with almost no pushback.

Politicians have turned a blind eye to the threat from within and have given a wink to Americans as Jihadists step up to rule them. It’s unconscionable and wholly avoidable if you stop illegal immigration, denaturalize, and deport. Stop embracing terrorists and Jihadists and do your damn jobs.
