A political earthquake in Germany! The AfD has nearly doubled its 2021 result, winning over 20 percent of the national vote in Sunday’s federal election. The people of Germany have delivered a historic rejection of the political establishment, making the AfD the second-strongest force in the country.
But despite this massive democratic mandate, the CDU is already plotting to subvert the will of the people by refusing to govern with the AfD—proving that they would rather protect the failing status quo than stand with German citizens.
The AfD’s influence is now undeniable. Not only did the party dominate political discourse during the election, but it has reshaped the entire debate in Germany, forcing the establishment to confront its catastrophic immigration policies.
The CDU’s Cowardice and Betrayal
The so-called “center-right” CDU/CSU bloc came in first with 28.8 percent, largely because they copied parts of the AfD’s immigration policies to stop hemorrhaging voters. Yet CDU leader Friedrich Merz has made it clear that he would rather prop up Germany’s failed establishment than govern alongside the AfD to implement real change.
Merz arrogantly declared: “I want to do politics so that a party like the AfD is no longer needed in Germany.” In other words, the CDU’s mission is not to serve the people but to crush opposition to their globalist agenda.
This is a direct betrayal of democracy. AfD leader Alice Weidel was absolutely right when she told supporters:
“Our hand remains outstretched to form a government. If the conservatives ignore the will of the people, the AfD will be the biggest party next time around.”
Weidel also made it clear that the CDU’s refusal to cooperate is a choice that will haunt them in the years to come, declaring, “We will overtake the CDU/CSU. And then we will get a mandate to govern.”
The message is clear: if the CDU refuses to govern with the AfD, it will be the CDU—not the AfD—that is stripped of power in the next election.
Thuringia: The Heart of the Resistance
While the AfD made historic gains nationwide, Thuringia has once again led the charge against the political elite. Björn Höcke’s AfD soared to nearly 40 percent—almost double the national AfD vote. The establishment and its media allies threw everything at stopping this movement—smears, censorship, even criminalization attempts—but it failed.
Thuringia, like much of eastern Germany, remembers life under authoritarian rule and refuses to submit to Berlin’s crackdown on political opposition. With Stefan Möller—Thuringia’s AfD co-leader and key strategist—potentially moving to Berlin, Björn Höcke will stand as the undisputed leader of Thuringia’s AfD, further solidifying its dominance.
The Establishment’s Nightmare: The AfD Isn’t Just Rising—It’s Winning
The political class, from Berlin to Brussels, is panicking. They have tried everything to destroy the AfD—censorship, legal persecution, physical attacks, intimidation tactics, surveillance, and media smears—but it hasn’t worked. The AfD is stronger than ever.
Elon Musk, JD Vance, and President Trump have acknowledged the AfD’s success, with Trump declaring the election “a great day for Germany” and warning that the “no common sense agenda” of the establishment is finally collapsing.
Weidel and Höcke stood together at the AfD’s election night rally, knowing this is only the beginning. The voters have spoken, and their message is clear: The AfD is the future of Germany.
