Father James Altman: Child sex traffickers admit they serve satan, that’s why they do what they do
Father James Altman joined John-Henry Westen, host of LifeSite News TV, to expose the deep crisis within the Catholic Church. He discussed the dangerous decline of American society – from abuse cover-ups to border chaos, from threats to free speech to child trafficking.
Fr. Altman is an American Catholic priest from the Diocese of La Crosse, Wisconsin. One of the topics he discussed during an interview with LifeSite News, was the Catholic bishops in the USA assisting with unaccompanied minors crossing through the Mexican border into the USA.
There are 300,000 unaccounted trafficked children, he said. “They found 80,000, they say. That’s still at least 220,000 unaccompanied minors across the border [unaccounted for].”
He then recounted a conversation he had with former Newsmax journalist Lara Logan last year. Logan spent time in Mexico to investigate child sex trafficking operations. After spending time living in the communities from which children were being trafficked, she was able to meet with and speak to trafficking gang members, some of them were “higherups” of the gang. She asked them what their motivations for trafficking children were.
Recalling what Logan had told him, Fr. Altman said, “They said to her … ‘You will never understand what we do until you understand that we’re serving satan, that we hate God and we will do anything we can to hurt God. And we know the thing that God loves most is His children. And so, we’re not trafficking them for money and power (that comes with it, right). We’re trafficking them because if we do it three times a day, we make that child suffer – great. If we can make him suffer six times a day, that’s even better. You will never understand what we do until you understand that we serve satan’.”
“So, that’s what’s behind this child sex trafficking,” Fr. Altman said.
Later in the interview, Fr. Altman gave a warning to Christians who are not speaking out against evil. It’s better to speak out now rather than wait until evil has become so pervasive that it can no longer be denied. Waiting to speak out until then will be too late.
Why aren’t Catholics “criticising the episcopacy, the bishops in this country who aren’t defending [bishops that are] speaking the truth [and are] also involved in child sex trafficking or did all these horrible things with children themselves or covered up for those who did. If you’re Catholic and you haven’t had the urge to tar and feather your bishop and run him out of town, then you don’t know your faith,” he said.
He called on faithful Catholics to wake up, speak out and pray like never before.
