Donald Trump posts AI alien image ‘at Area 51’ amid bombshell UFO briefing claims

BEIJING, CHINA - MAY 15: U.S. President Donald Trump waves as he prepares to board Air Force One at Beijing Capital International Airport on May 15, 2026 in Beijing, China. President Trump is concluding his Chinese trip, where he and President Xi addressed ways to enhance bilateral economic cooperation and investment, and agreed that Iran should not be allowed to have a nuclear weapon. According to Chinese state media, Xi emphasized the importance of the Taiwan issue, and that a mishandling could sour U.S.-China relations. (Photo by Alex Wong/Getty Images)

US President Donald Trump has sent conspiracy theorists into overdrive after sharing a picture of himself alongside an “alien”.

The apparent AI-generated image uploaded to Truth Social depicts him strolling across a military airfield next to a handcuffed silver-skinned extraterrestrial. The backdrop featuring Trump and the alien bears striking similarities to accounts of the US military’s classified facility at Groom Lake, Nevada – the infamous “Area 51.”

The post was accompanied by additional images showing him sitting at a digital control station, seemingly overseeing some form of space-based military operations. This comes mere weeks after the Pentagon declassified over 100 bombshell UFO documents – featuring remarkable photographs and footage of unexplained aerial phenomena.

The late night social media spree has generated substantial buzz online, with several users taking note of the alien’s surprisingly muscular physique.

Whereas the traditional “grey” alien is typically depicted as slender, almost child-like, Trump’s AI-created extraterrestrial towers at least six inches above the 6’3″ president and boasts well-defined abdominal muscles.

The collection of photos has sparked feverish speculation among conspiracy theorists. Ross Coulthart, a prominent investigative journalist and key voice in UFO circles, took to Twitter shortly after the AI-generated image surfaced, writing: “I am told POTUS is indeed now briefed on the legacy UAP retrieval program. The President, @marcorubio, @RepLuna, @RepEricBurlison and @timburchett have pushed hard for the answers that other Presidents failed to get.”

“The big Q is what POTUS will tell the American public now he knows what’s happening. President Trump knows much more now than the original UAPTF brief sent to the White House in his first term.”

Trump appears to be reveling in the buzz generated by his declassification efforts, declaring “the American people deserve transparency and truth”.

During his second term’s opening week, he authorized the public release of files concerning the assassinations of President John F. Kennedy, Sen. Robert F. Kennedy and Martin Luther King Jr. The newly disclosed materials, however, yielded few fresh insights.

For decades, conspiracy theorists have maintained that the US armed forces established alien contact – dating back at least to the infamous Roswell incident in 1947.

In more recent times, particularly after the 2004 incident where a US Navy carrier strike group encountered an unexplained craft resembling a “Tic Tac,” these fringe theories have started gaining broader credibility.

Back in February, Missouri Representative Eric Burlison made the startling claim that he’d been briefed on a downed extraterrestrial vehicle located in a foreign nation – one so massive it’s impossible to relocate. He refused to divulge specifics, explaining: “I’m not going to mention the country because I heard of it inside of a closed setting, and I want to protect my classification level.”

Burlison went on to say that should he ever obtain irrefutable proof of alien contact, he wouldn’t hesitate to go public: “If I come under any hard evidence, whether it’s physical or video evidence that is absolutely definitive, while I’m going to do what I can to protect our national security and our nation’s interest, I will not hold back on telling the American people that we are alone or not alone in this universe.”

He added: “That is something that no government has the right to withhold from its people.”

Following that revelation, the Trump administration disclosed a collection of official records and photographs connected to UFO encounters. Yet much of what’s been made public to date falls short of being definitive proof of otherworldly visitors.

Meanwhile, the sightings keep coming. A new Pentagon assessment revealed that over 750 fresh UAP (Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena) reports were logged between May 2023 and June 2024, with roughly 20 deemed sufficiently credible to warrant deeper investigation. Among the footage was a clip of a Hellfire missile, launched from a US Reaper drone, that appeared to collide with a luminous orb off the Yemeni coastline.

“We’ve never seen a Hellfire missile hit a target and bounce off,” said Luis Elizondo, a former senior intelligence official with the Pentagon who is a regular commentator on UFO research.
