The “Summer of Love – the Sequel” is ratcheting up by the hour as leftists now appear to be encouraging Democrats to “get shot” for the resistance as they warn of “blood” and “violence” in the streets over their frustration with not being able to stop President Trump.
Getting their violence on
The Marxists are not just threatening violence… it is actively occurring more and more across the nation. Democrats are claiming that their base is really angry and frustrated over leftist lawmakers being unable to stop Trump and Republicans from enacting their agenda.
The claim doesn’t just come from rumors on social media. This report is from left-leaning Axios which evidently spoke to over 24 House Democrats to find out how upset their base is. According to the report, they are so angry they are ready to get their violence on.

At town halls in their districts and in one-on-one meetings with constituents and activists, Democratic members of Congress are facing a growing thrum of demands to break the rules, fight dirty — and not be afraid to get hurt.
Why it matters: House Democrats told Axios they see a growing anger among their base that has, in some cases, morphed into a disregard for American institutions, political traditions, and even the rule of law.
“What I have seen is a demand that we get ourselves arrested intentionally or allow ourselves to be victims of violence, and … a lot of times that’s coming from economically very secure white people,” one Democratic lawmaker told Axios.
“We’ve got people who are desperately wanting us to do something… no matter what we say, they want [more],” Illinois Rep. Brad Schneider commented. Other lawmakers would not give their names when they made similar claims.
“I actually said in a meeting, ‘When they light a fire, my thought is to grab an extinguisher,’” another remarked at a meeting and then noted that “someone at the table said, ‘Have you tried gasoline?’”
“Some of them have suggested … what we really need to do is be willing to get shot” when visiting ICE facilities or federal agencies, another House Democrat told Axios.
“Our own base is telling us that what we’re doing is not good enough,” an anonymous Democrat told Axios, “[that] there needs to be blood to grab the attention of the press and the public.”
One Dem flat-out said that his constituents were done with “civility” because it “isn’t working.” He also stated they were preparing for “violence… to fight to protect our democracy.”
“It’s like … the Roman coliseum. People just want more and more of this spectacle,” said another not mentioning the Bread and Circuses – the act of appeasing a population with superficial diversions, particularly food and entertainment, to distract them from more pressing issues – that President Biden and Obama foisted on Americans during their terms. Democrats have now moved on to violence as entertainment.
Democrats blame their base
The Left cannot tolerate not having control of the House, Senate, Presidency, and the Supreme Court. It is causing them to violently become unhinged. With every pro-Trump ruling by the high court, the calls for blood and violence are growing. The passage of the Big Beautiful Bill caused many of them to melt down entirely.

“Democrats built this monster. Now it’s turning on them, and the 2026 primaries are going to produce some of the most unhinged candidates we’ve ever seen,” National Republican Congressional Committee Spokesman Mike Marinella said in a statement provided to the DCNF.
Antifa and violent leftists target ICE
In Portland, Los Angeles, New York City, Washington, DC, and other big blue cities across America, Antifa is running wild, hurting people and destroying property. Many times, all the police are allowed to do is watch as things are set on fire and they are assaulted.
Then there are potentially deadly attacks such as the one where a police officer was shot in the neck in Alvarado, Texas last Friday outside an ICE detention facility. He was treated and released.
Eight antagonists were arrested – all dressed in black and body armor. Multiple people fired at the officers who were lured there by the report that someone was carrying a gun. They were ambushed and had fireworks launched at them as well as being shot at.
Monday morning, Border Patrol agents were ambushed by an armed shooter as they arrived at the Border Patrol annex facility in McAllen, Texas. No federal officers were shot, but one local police officer was hit in the knee. He’s in stable condition. Two other officers were injured.
The gunman was shot and killed by officers. He has since been identified as Ryan Louis Mosqueda, 27, according to The Post Millennial. He was from Luddington, Michigan. Mosqueda was wearing black tactical gear during the attack and carrying a number of firearms, Breitbart reported.
That’s the second armed ambush in Texas in just three days. You could probably use an egg timer at this point to time when someone is going to get killed if this keeps up.
Fox News’ Bill Melugin reported, “Three federal & TX law enforcement sources tell me an active shooter with a rifle & tactical gear ambushed Border Patrol agents as they arrived at a Border Patrol annex facility in McAllen, TX this morning.”
“Local police and federal agents returned fire, killing him. I’m told this was a purposeful ambush/attack against federal agents and a press conference is planned for later this morning. No federal agents injured. Im told a McAllen police officer may have been shot, but is in stable condition,” Melugin said on X.
Fox News reported that police believe it was a targeted attack against ICE. Just like the one that occurred Friday night in Alvarado.
The Trump administration will target attackers
US Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche wrote on X in response to the Alvarado attack, “We are closely monitoring the attacks on DHS detention facilities in Prairieland, TX, and Portland, OR, and are coordinating with the USAOs and our law enforcement partners.”
“The Department has zero tolerance for assaults on federal officers or property and will bring the full weight of the law against those responsible,” he vowed.
According to The Post Millennial, there has been a 500 percent increase in assaults against ICE agents since Trump came into office over his immigration policies. Policies that the majority of Americans voted for. There have also been anti-ICE riots across the nation as well in cities such as Los Angeles, Portland, and Seattle.
Democratic lawmakers have incited violence continuously in their base since Trump was elected. Now, they are blaming their constituents for something they should be held accountable for.
